“X-Men”, “Avengers”, “Guardians of the Galaxy” are just a few films in the Marvel Universe. It is doubtless one of the most impressive. Films based on Marvel Comics stand out from the list of other fantasy films and attract the attention of the audience around the world.
We at Joy-pup love this cinematic universe, but the characters deserve even more attention. Therefore, our editorial team decided to create the rating of the strongest, in our opinion, heroes from the Marvel Comics. Some of them are familiar to you.
Venom
This villain appears not only in comics but also in Marvel films. He becomes a part of a person and turns into a superhuman with incredible powers. Venom makes its carrier superstrong, protects him from danger, and changes shape. This character also has super speed and can regenerate. And he needs to eat a lot.
By the way, we see the real development of the character in the “Venom” movie in 2018, where this alien creature completely changes its essence.
Hulk
It’s a shame, but from the whole rating, the Hulk isn’t the strongest comic book character. It is so only because scriptwriters constantly create new, cooler characters. However, the Hulk himself will impress anyone. It is a brilliant scientist with deep knowledge in various fields of science. He turns into a powerful monster, who can barely control his rage. although, in the last “Avengers” he learned to do this.
So, the Hulk has incredible strength, endurance, immunity to diseases and poisons, the highest limit of rage and resistance to telepathy. He also absorbs radiation and can regenerate.
By the way, Edward Norton featured in the first parts of the cinematic universe “Hulk”, but because of his excessive demands, the actor was replaced by Mark Ruffalo.
Wolverine
Another one of our favorites. The Beast, with blade-sharp claws and the restorative capacity, appears in a series of Marvel Comics. We remember him in all parts of “X-Men”, where he defeated evil villains and always survived.
Logan, which was a real name of the Wolverine, had lots of skills. Regeneration, super speed, dexterity and animal instinct. You may ask, if he could even have more, but after a difficult transformation, when a special metal was poured into Wolverine’s veins, he became almost invincible.
We would put Wolverine first in line if it weren’t for the 2017 “Logan” movie. There we see how a superhero turns into a sick old man and soon dies. A tragic ending for actor Hugh Jackman, who had been playing the beast with superpowers for many years.
By the way, if you miss Wolverine, there are a lot more stories of him in Marvel Comics. He even squares off with the Hulk there.
Blade
Do you remember the man with the vampire instincts? Marvel Comics have more than enough of this superhuman. He is immune to the bites of bloodsuckers, but he often craves blood, especially after injuries. This superhero defends the world and has the same restorative capacity as Wolverine. But at the same time, his body can also destroy any third-party substances – poisons and others.
Blade has got a unique mind and reflexes, can turn others into vampires, scent the enemy. He also knows a lot of martial arts and is stronger than any vampire.
Thor
God, known to us from ancient myths, appears in Marvel Comics. In the cinematic universe, we first meet him in the films “Thor”, and then he becomes part of the “Avengers” team.
The character which lives on Asgard, is the son of the god Odin and the brother of the crafty Loki. His main weapon of Thor is the hammer, which destroys everything as it goes. Well, of course, no one except Thor can raise this hammer. Except for Captain America, who did this in the film “Avengers: Final”.
Why do we consider him the strongest? Just think, Thor has extreme strength, endurance, resistance to all poisons, regeneration and reincarnation ability. He’s aging very slowly, and can also cause lightning and fly. Cool, isn’t it? At the moment, he’s one of our favorites.
By the way, Chris Hemsworth isn’t as strong as his character. All the tricks for him were performed by another Thor – his stunt double.
Deadpool
This anti-hero can even change reality. In Marvel Comics, he appeared as a villain and a miserable human with extreme abilities. He’s a tight fellow, he knows many martial arts and is strong in body.
But after he was succumbed to mutations, as Wolverine, this man became a superhero. He is immune to any viruses and diseases, can regenerate, reload muscles for greater strength, read thoughts. This character can also raise from the dead.
Dr. Strange
At first, this hero existed only in comics, then he became a character of the eponymous film, and then appeared in the last films about the avengers. We will agree that he has almost no equals.
Just imagine, he has control of any kind of magic, a unique intellect, is invulnerable, immortal, and can regenerate. He also creates clones, is familiar with hypnosis and telepathy, creates illusions and is considered intangible. Dr. Strange can distort reality and knows martial arts.
Thanos
A hero with endless capabilities! We meet him in the films “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Avengers: Infinity War”, and “Avengers: Final”. By the way, he is responsible for the death of our beloved characters, including Iron Man.
The creators of the Marvel Comics decorated Thanos with superhuman abilities, unique intelligence and immortality. He’s familiar with telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation. He can control any kind of energy and substance, knows magic and occultism, can fly, absorb energy, change reality and become invisible.
We think, that this superhero has almost no equals.
Jean Grey
We wonder what would happen to Thanos if he met the power of Jean Gray? This is a mutant human who masters telepathy, telekinesis, levitation. Jean is familiar with substances, thought and energy across the globe, can move in space and time, bring people back to life and change timelines.
You can get to know about her in the film “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”.
One-Above-All
He’s surely the strongest character in the Marvel Universe and Comics. Everything here was created by him. He controls space, energy, time, matter. He is absolutely omnipotent, omniscient and immortal.
In the Universe, everything is subordinate to One-Above-All, who is always and everywhere. The hero rarely intervenes in what is happening in the Metaverse, no one has seen him, and you can learn about him from the stories of other characters.
Please, share, which of the Marvel characters do you think is the strongest?
