Half of Keanu Reeves’ lines cut from John Wick 4

Half of Keanu Reeves’ lines had to be cut from John Wick 4. This was told by one of the screenwriters of the film – Michael Finch. So, in the original script, the actor had a lot more lines. But the script that made it to the final cut was in which Reeves only says 380 words.

Initially, the actor had to say about 760 words. But Keanu Reeves himself and director Chad Stahelski decided that the hero should be silent. Therefore, it was decided to cut out half of the replicas. Keanu Reeves personally removed unnecessary phrases from the dialogues so that his hero answered briefly and clearly.

By the way, it is known that Keanu Reeves’ fee for the film amounted to $ 15 million.
