Home Alone star escapes prison sentence for domestic violence

American actor, star of the film “Home Alone,” Devin Ratray was tried on charges of domestic violence. He escaped prison sentence. The actor is known for his role as Kevin’s older brother, Buzz.

The trial took place in Oklahoma and began back in 2021. Then Devin’s girlfriend reported to the police that he, while drunk, pushed her, punched her and even tried to strangle her. The affidavit noted that the victim had difficulty breathing with the defendant’s hand covering her mouth and was also being choked. The actor at this time insisted that this is how she would die.

The man was arrested but later released on bail of $25,000. After the incident, the couple ended their relationship.

Recently, Devin Rattray pleaded guilty to two counts, thus avoiding prison time. Instead, he was sentenced to three years probation. He is also required to undergo a special program and undergo testing for alcohol and drug use. The actor must also pay all legal expenses of the victim and never approach her again.
