American actor, two-time Oscar winner, 62-year-old Kevin Spacey is accused of sexual harassment. According to The Mirror, the star was sued by actor Anthony Rapp, who is best known for the movie Star Trek: Discovery.
Hearings in the case began on 6 October. The entire accusation is based on the testimony of 50-year-old Anthony Rapp, who back in 2017 accused Kevin Spacey of sexual harassment. According to him, it happened in 1986, during a party in Manhattan. At the time, Kevin Spacey was 26 and Anthony Rapp was 14. The prosecution claims that the drunken actor dragged the teenager into the bedroom, began to cuddle up to him and seek intimacy. But Anthony pulled himself out of Kevin’s arms. However, he claims that this incident caused him psychological trauma.
Kevin Spacey commented on this situation and said that he did not remember such an incident.
It is known that Anthony Rapp is ready to drop his claims and not continue the lawsuit if the actor pays him $40 million for moral damage. But so far there is no one who could confirm the accusations. Therefore, Rapp will have to testify on his own, and the jury will make a verdict.
