Ingredients:
- 4 ears of young corn
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (parsley or dill) for garnish
Step-by-step preparation of Parmesan corn
- Remove leaves and fibers from young cobs. Rinse the corn under cold water and pat dry.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated Parmesan. Stir to distribute the cheese evenly throughout the butter.
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the corn on a baking sheet and spread the garlic-Parmesan mixture evenly over it. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning the cobs occasionally to brown and heat through evenly.
Remove the corn from the oven and let it cool slightly. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh herbs for added flavor and freshness.
