Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese (preferably 5-9% fat) – 500 g
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Sugar – 3-4 tbsp. (or to taste)
- Semolina – 2 tbsp.
- Milk – 50 ml
- Bananas – 2 pcs.
- Vanillin or vanilla sugar — to taste
- Baking powder — 1 tsp
- A pinch of salt
- Butter for greasing the pan
Step-by-step recipe for cheese casserole with banana:
- Put the cottage cheese through a sieve or blend it until the mixture is smooth. This will make the casserole more tender. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
- Pour in the milk and gradually add the semolina. Leave the mixture for 10–15 minutes to let the semolina swell.
- Peel the bananas. Cut one banana into slices for decoration, and mash the second one with a fork into a puree and add to the curd mass. Add the baking powder to the curd mass and mix.
- Grease the baking pan with butter (butter or vegetable oil). You can additionally sprinkle with semolina or breadcrumbs so that the casserole does not stick.
- Pour the curd mixture into the mold, smooth the surface. Decorate the top with banana slices. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the casserole for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
After baking, let the casserole cool slightly so that it holds its shape better. Cut into portions and serve.
