Freezing grapes

Step-by-step instruction
- The grapes must be thoroughly washed and dried. Make sure there is no dirt or damage on the berries.
- Remove it from the sprigs so it freezes easier and is ready to eat once defrosted.
- Arrange the grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet or tray and place them in the freezer for 2-3 hours. This will prevent the berries from sticking together.
- Place frozen berries in an airtight bag or container and store in the freezer.
- Frozen grapes can be used to make smoothies, desserts, or eaten as a treat on their own.
Drying grapes
This is a traditional way of preserving grapes, in which moisture is removed from the berries and they turn into raisins. It, in turn, can be stored for a long time, and is used in baked goods, salads and other dishes.
How to dry grapes:
- Wash and dry the berries thoroughly. You can leave them on the branches or remove them.
- To speed up the drying process, you can pour boiling water over the grapes and then immediately cool them in cold water.
- Place the grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet or a special fruit dehydrator. Dry at 50-60°C until completely dry. This can take from several hours to several days, depending on the size of the berries and air humidity.
- Store prepared raisins in airtight containers in a cool, dry place.
Canning grapes
Canned grapes can be used as a dessert or an addition to various dishes.
How to preserve grapes:
- Wash and dry the berries. Remove damaged and overripe grapes.
- Boil water and add sugar (about 500 g of sugar per 1 liter of water). The syrup should boil for 5-7 minutes.
- Place the grapes in sterilized jars, pour hot syrup, leaving a little space up to the edge of the jar.
- Close the jars with lids and sterilize them in boiling water (about 10-15 minutes for half-liter jars).
- Cool the jars and store them in a cool, dark place.
- Canned grapes retain their flavor and aroma while remaining nutritious.
