Ingredients:
- Puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
Step by step preparation:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a work surface and cut into strips about 1.5 cm wide.
- Crack an egg and lightly beat it.
- Dip each strip of dough in egg and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Lay the strips on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes until they are golden brown.
Puff snack baskets with salmon
Such dishes are suitable even as main dishes. To prepare a basket, you will need:
- Puff pastry
- 150 grams of salmon
- 50 grams cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon capers
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a work surface and cut out circles about 8 cm in diameter.
- Place the mugs on a baking sheet, brush them lightly with the beaten egg and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown.
- During this time, grind the salmon into fine crumbs and mix it with cream cheese, capers, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Fill each basket with the resulting mixture and serve.
Puff rolls with spinach and feta
Spinach and feta are a great combination because they complement each other. Try to make a delicious snack out of them.
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry
- 150 grams of fresh spinach
- 100 grams of feta
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step by step preparation:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Defrost puff pastry and roll it out on a work surface.
- Wash and pat dry the spinach. If the leaves are large, chop them into small pieces.
- Fluff the feta with a fork.
- Break the egg into a bowl, beat it and add some salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread an even layer of spinach over the rolled out pastry, then sprinkle with feta.
- Roll the dough into a roll and cut it into portions about 1-1.5 cm wide.
- Lay the rolls on a baking sheet and brush them with the beaten egg.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown.
