After 25, the skin begins to gradually lose collagen, and the renewal processes slow down. This is not a reason to panic, but the ideal time to start conscious skin care. At joy-pup, we offer 5 basic rules that will help maintain the freshness, elasticity and radiance of your face for many years.
Skin cleansing is a must
This is the first and most important step in care. Even if you do not use makeup, dust, sebum and impurities accumulate on your skin during the day, clogging pores. Use soft gels or foams that suit your skin type, morning and evening. Once a day (in the evening), you can do double cleansing: first hydrophilic oil or micellar water, then cleanser.
Moisturize your skin
Dry skin accelerates the aging process, so absolutely everyone needs to moisturize, even those with oily skin. Choose creams and serums with hyaluronic acid, panthenol, niacinamide or ceramides. Don’t forget about the area around the eyes – it is especially sensitive and requires special care.
SPF protection every day

Ultraviolet is the main enemy of young skin. Even in cloudy weather, the sun affects the skin, causing photoaging, pigmentation and decreased elasticity. Sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 should become your daily ritual. It is applied as the last step of your morning skincare routine and renewed throughout the day, especially in summer.
Antioxidant care
After 25, it is worth including antioxidant products in your skincare routine: vitamin C, vitamin E, resveratrol. They fight the effects of free radicals, which accelerate cell aging. These components improve complexion, give skin radiance and stimulate collagen production. Use vitamin C serums in the morning – they work great in tandem with SPF.
Take care of your skin regularly
One-off treatments and rare masks will not give long-term results. To keep your skin well-groomed, consistency is important. Create a simple but stable routine: cleansing – toner – serum – cream – SPF. Once a week, you can do a gentle peeling and nourishing masks. And most importantly, watch your skin’s reaction and adjust your care as needed.
