The Marvel Cinematic Universe has shown the first trailer for Thunderbolts. This is a very unexpected superhero film starring Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan.
The film will tell the story of a team of villains who were sent on a dangerous mission. The depressive “Black Widow” Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) gathers around her the most unexpected antiheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The “Red Guardian” Alexei Shostakov also joins her. Other villains will also join the team and will have to save the world together.
The Thunderbolts is directed by Jake Schreier and will be released in 2025.
Interestingly, the film’s production has encountered some obstacles. Last year’s Hollywood strike forced the studio to suspend filming of Thunderbolts and Captain America: Brave New World. Also, the box office failures of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania and Marvels forced the studio to reconsider its plans.
