SpaceX will attempt to relaunch the Crew Dragon Demo-2 with NASA astronauts on board. Space launch to the International Space Station almost succeeded on May 27, but because of bad weather conditions, the take-off had to be canceled 16 minutes before the launch.
When will the launch take place?
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket with Crew Dragon manned spacecraft is due to take off on Saturday, May 30th. As known, the launch will take place at 03:22 pm North American time (10:22 pm our time). At 6 pm, the online countdown broadcast will start.
If this time nothing stops the launch, astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken will reach the ISS on May 31 at 10:29 am (North American time), (5:29 pm our time). Already at 7:45 pm, it’s planned to open the access door between the ISS and Crew Dragon.
If the launch will be called off again, there will be the third attempt. It is scheduled for May 31 at 3 pm North American time.
