Actor, professional surfer and lifeguard Tamayo Perry died in a shark attack. He is famous for his role in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The tragic event occurred on Sunday, June 23, off Goat Island, Hawaii, USA. Tamayo, 49, worked there as a lifeguard. During a break between work, he decided to go surfing. But at this time he was attacked by a shark.
Rescuers found his body with multiple bite marks. Perry was taken to paramedics, but his injuries were found to be non-life-threatening. Doctors only stated the death of the surfer.
Tamayo Perry has starred in a wide variety of cult films. In particular, he can be seen in the film “Blue Wave”. But most of all he loved water sports, so he went surfing. He also worked as a water rescuer.
