Adidas terminates partnership with Kanye West after his allegations

Adidas has cut all ties with rapper Kanye West (Ye) completely. The reason was his anti-Semitic statements and statements that incite hatred.

A little earlier, the Yeezy brand, which is managed by Adidas, suspended its cooperation with Kanye West. This happened after the rapper showed off a White Lives Matter T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week and posted anti-Semitic remarks on Twitter a few days later.

Adidas said that the rapper’s products will be removed from sale immediately. And this despite the fact that the cooperation was one of the most successful in the history of the company. On this, the company will lose approximately $250 million in 2022.

Kanye West has previously accused Adidas of stealing his intellectual property.

By the way, after the anti-Semitic statements, Instagram and Twitter froze the rapper’s accounts. Balenciaga, JP Morgan and Gap also turned their backs on him. MRC has said it will not air a documentary about Kanye West.
