Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie spoke about her personal life. In 2013, she decided to take a radical step – a double mastectomy (breast removal). The reason for this was the risk of developing breast cancer in the future. It was not an easy decision for the actress, because after the operation she had to get used to her body again.
But two years after having her breasts removed, Jolie again appeared in front of the camera, starring with Brad Pitt in the film Cote d’Azur. The film tells about the crisis of relations in a married couple. It featured several intimate scenes, including one where Jolie appears naked in the bathroom.
The actress admitted that she was uncomfortable filming such a scene after the operation. She, as a director, even wanted to remove the frame from the film. But then I decided to leave it in order to be honest with the audience.
As Jolie said, you can’t just throw out part of the script because you had surgery or because she and Brad are married. It wouldn’t be fair.
