Boney M. founder and author of the hit Daddy Cool Frank Farian has died

On January 23, the legendary musician, 82-year-old Frank Farian, passed away. He was the founder of the music group Boney M., as well as a German producer. The musician was famous in the 1980s for a number of hits, and his real name is Franz Reuther.

At the moment it is known that the musician died in his own home in Miami. What caused this is unknown. But in 2022, Frank underwent heart surgery to install an artificial valve.

Frank Farian founded the group Boney M in the late 1970s. Thanks to such hits as Daddy Cool, Rasputin, Sunny and others, the group became world famous. His songs are still heard today. The musician was also the founder of the duo Milli Vanilli.
