The half-brother of the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley, David Stanley, blamed the doctor for the death of the legendary singer. He said this in an interview with Express on November 18.
After the musician’s death, there were several theories regarding the main cause of death. It happened on August 16, 1977, at that time Elvis Presley was 42 years old. The king of rock and roll died of a heart attack in the bathroom of his estate in Graceland. Before the tragedy, he gained a lot of weight and became addicted to prescription drugs, which worsened his health problems.
Now the musician’s brother blamed the doctor George Nichopoulos, who died in 2016, for his death. David revealed that Dr. Nick gave Elvis over 10,000 pills in the last eight months of his life. And for his crime, the doctor is supposedly going to jail.
When asked if he was surprised to find Elvis’ body on the bathroom floor, he replied, “Oh, no… I knew it was only a matter of time with Elvis. We were lucky he didn’t die on stage somewhere.”
