American actor Ezra Miller, who is known for his roles in the films “Justice League” and “Fantastic Beasts”, made a deal with the prosecution in the burglary case. According to Variety, this allowed him to avoid a real term.
Ezra Miller was accused of breaking into a private home in Vermont on May 1, 2022. The actor stole several bottles of alcohol. He was charged with burglary in August and trials began in September.
At first, the actor’s lawyers insisted on his innocence. But in the end they had to change tactics. Ezra Miller pleaded guilty to trespassing. In return, the prosecutor will drop charges of petty theft and burglary.
Thanks to such a deal, Miller avoided up to 26 years in prison. As punishment, he will be recommended up to 90 days of probation, a year of probation and a fine of $500.
