At this stage of his life, Clooney has become more selective in choosing the people he works with. He is not ready to make sacrifices in order to get a good product. And in an interview, he said that after witnessing Russell insulting members of the crew, humiliating them in front of others, the actor wrote a letter to the director, asking him to calm down for the sake of the project.

George Clooney added that David O. Russell made his life hell, as well as the life of every member of the crew. He called working on the film Three Kings “truly the worst experience” in his life. After all, Russell insulted him in every way on the set and once even tried to start a fight. Therefore, although the actor appreciates Russell’s directorial talent, he does not want to work with him anymore.
