Harvey Weinstein diagnosed with rare form of cancer

Scandalous Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who was sentenced to 16 years in prison, has seen his health deteriorate sharply. This information is published by a number of foreign media outlets.

NBC News, citing an insider, writes that the producer has been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, chronic myeloid leukemia. At the moment, 72-year-old Weinstein has already begun a course of cancer treatment in prison on Rikers Island in New York.

Producer’s representative Judah Engelmayer commented on the rumors with restraint. She added that they do not want to make personal matters public and asked to respect personal space.

Recall that earlier the media also pointed out Weinstein’s health problems. He underwent emergency surgery to reduce the amount of fluid in his lungs and heart. This summer, it was revealed that the producer had contracted Covid-19 and suffered severe pneumonia.
