The star of the films based on Stephen King’s novel “It,” Bill Skarsgård, was arrested in Sweden for possession of controlled substances. TMZ writes about this.
According to law enforcement sources, the 33-year-old actor was arrested back in October 2023. He was found with 2.43 grams of narcotic substances for smoking at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm.
Bill was only recently sentenced. He must pay a fine of 40,000 Swedish kronor ($3,825), after which he will not face jail time, probation or parole.
Bill Skarsgård pleaded guilty to the crime. He provided all the documents to the court, after which he was sentenced based on them.
Let us remind you that the actor became popular thanks to the fact that he played the clown Pennywise in the “It” films. He also starred in the film Atomic Blonde. His family, by the way, is an actor and became famous in Sweden.
