Celebrity actor Matt Damon once again spoke about how he regrets the missed opportunity to play the lead role in the film “Avatar”. He could have received a fee of $250 million.

In an interview with TV presenter Chris Wallace, Matt Damon said that he could not leave the shooting of the movie about Bourne. But he really wanted to work with James Cameron. He had a contract, he was just in the middle of filming about Bourne. And he knew there was still work to be done. He needed to finish everything.

Recall that Matt Damon could play the lead role in “Avatar” and get 10% of the box office. They amounted to 2.9 billion dollars. This is not the first time the actor has publicly regretted the missed opportunity, but James Cameron in an interview advised him to just accept it.
