Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman admitted which complex she has suffered from since childhood. She said that she is embarrassed by her height, which she is 180 centimeters, in an interview with Radio Times.

The artist noted that she was told that she would not have a career due to her height. She recalled auditioning for the role of Annie against hundreds of other applicants. She didn’t have an agent, so she just showed up to audition herself. And her mother asked how long it would all take and whether she had to be there.

Nicole Kidman persuaded her mother to stay. The commission began measuring Kidman’s height because they thought she was short for the role. But it turned out that she exceeded their expectations, because they thought that she was shorter than 160 cm. At that time, she was 164 cm tall. Then they auditioned her, but she still did not get the role.

At the age of 13, Kidman was already 180 cm tall. Her peers began to tease her, so she does not like to remember those times. The actress was called Stalky, as if she were a long thin strip. As an adult, she also hears people tell her that she is much taller than they thought.
