British musician Sir Paul McCartney announced the release of the last song of the legendary band The Beatles. It was completed by artificial intelligence.
The musician said that artificial intelligence was used to “resurrect” the voice of the late John Lennon from the old demo and complete the song. The name of the composition is kept secret, but it will be released at the end of the year.
According to the journalists of The Guardian, we are talking about one of the records, which was handed over by Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono. These tapes were on a cassette labeled “For Paul”. So perhaps the 1978 song Now and Then is being prepared for release.
The Beatles began work on this song in the mid-1990s. But the text could not be parsed due to the poor amount of recording. The song was put on the back burner because the band’s lead guitarist George Harrison called it nonsense and refused to work on it.
Paul McCartney himself has spoken for years about wanting to release the song, but was held back by a lack of technical ability.
