The popular American rapper Puff Daddy, who was arrested on September 16 and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and rape, said that he went to therapy because of Jennifer Lopez and Kim Porter.
Sean Combs (the rapper’s real name) dated J. Lo from 1999 to 2001. During this relationship, the couple found themselves in the center of an investigation due to a shooting in one of the nightclubs.
After the breakup, each of them went their own way, and Jennifer distanced herself from Sean as much as possible. She still does not comment on the scandals surrounding his person. And only once, even before the rapper’s arrest, the actress and singer let it slip that their relationship was stormy and emotionally draining.
But Sean Combs did not get over the breakup so easily. Even before his arrest, he gave an interview in which he admitted that J. Lo forced him to go to therapy because of this relationship.
“I went to therapy because of the relationships I was in, because of the tragedies I went through. I think therapy is good. I’ve been called bipolar – I’m not. I just have very drastic mood swings. I went to therapy when B.I.G. died, but a lot of my therapy was about love and relationships. I went to therapy about my relationship with Kim Porter, about my relationship with Jennifer. Therapy helped me get through a lot of those situations,” the musician said.
