Queen releases song with vocals by Freddie Mercury

The legendary band Queen released a song with vocals by Freddie Mercury. This is the band’s first new composition released in over eight years since the release of 2014’s Queen Forever. Note that it was written 34 years ago.

The song is called Face It Alone, it was recorded in 1988, when the band’s vocalist Freddie Mercury was still alive. The track was supposed to be included in the album The Miracle, but did not make it to the final version of the disc.

While working on the re-release of the album, the members remembered the song. The band’s guitarist Brian May said he was happy that the band was able to find the song.

Freddie Mercury died in 1991 at the age of 45, he had complications associated with AIDS.
