Norwegian robotics company 1X has announced a bipedal humanoid robot powered by artificial intelligence, which it has named NEO Gamma. This is a humanoid servant that can perform a variety of household chores, such as cleaning or serving tea.

The company has teamed up with knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki to create a soft and smooth suit for the robot that will hide its metal body.
According to 1X, the robot can perform a variety of actions. It can pick up objects from the ground, sit on a chair, arrange objects, and pour tea into a cup. Thanks to a system that was modeled on human tendons, the robot servant’s actions are very quiet.

The robot also uses an advanced artificial intelligence component, allowing it to function autonomously. And four built-in microphones allow it to quickly respond to human commands. NEO Gamma can respond and conduct simple conversations, and it also plays music through a speaker.
