Chips are liked by many, they are great for spending pleasant family evenings watching a movie or hanging out with friends. And, of course, you want them to be not only tasty, but also healthy. We at joy-pup offer recipes for chips from sweet potato, pumpkin or zucchini.
Sweet potato chips
Ingredients:
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step-by-step preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Peel the sweet potato and cut into thin round slices.
- In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Place the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking occasionally to make sure the chips don’t burn. They should be crisp and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Pumpkin chips
Ingredients:
- 300 g pumpkin (any variety)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Half a teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Salt to taste
Step-by-step preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 170°C.
- Peel the pumpkin and cut into thin slices.
- In a bowl, toss the pumpkin slices with vegetable oil, salt and cinnamon.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until the slices are crispy. It is important not to burn them.
Zucchini chips
Ingredients:
- 2 zucchini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs (oregano, thyme)
- Salt to taste
Step-by-step preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 150°C.
- Cut the zucchini into thin slices.
- In a bowl, mix the zucchini slices with oil, herbs and salt.
- Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake at a low temperature for about 45-60 minutes, until the slices are crispy.
- Let the chips cool slightly and enjoy a light snack.
