Postcard for mom on March 8
Flowers for March 8 are always a good idea, and every mom will definitely be happy about it. A card decorated with dried flowers with a couple of nice words in itself can be a wonderful gift for mom. It can also accompany any other gift you want to give.
Materials:
- dried flowers;
- thick paper measuring 21×10 cm;
- white fabric measuring 23×12 cm;
- glue;
- hole puncher;
- twine or ribbon.
How to do:
- Make small bouquets of dried flowers. Wrap with ribbon or twine and tie a knot or bow.
- Now glue the fabric in the middle of the white paper. The glue must not be too liquid, otherwise the paper will curl under it.
- Make two holes in the center of the fabric with a hole punch.
- Pass the ribbon through the holes to make a loop.
- Insert small bouquets of dried flowers into the loop and gently tighten it.
- Tie a small bow and glue the dried flower fabric onto the paper card.
DIY bath bombs
Handmade cosmetics are a very good gift. Bath bombs give pleasure with their bubbles and contain valuable care ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of baking soda;
- 100 g of citric acid;
- 30 ml of olive oil; (you can take any vegetable oil);
- 50 g cornstarch;
- 5-7 drops of any essential oil;
- 1 teaspoon of water;
- food coloring (of your choice);
- additional caring substances on request: honey, milk powder, herbs, spices, dried flowers and herbs;
- Round shapes for bombs.
How to make bath bombs:
- Mix baking soda and starch in a bowl.
- Add vegetable oil, essential oils, water and knead the ingredients with your hands.
- Add citric acid and mix well again.
- Divide the mass into several parts – depending on how many colors you want to use.
- Put one food coloring into each portion of the mass and knead well. With liquid dyes, use only a few drops and mix quickly, otherwise the reaction between baking soda and citric acid may start prematurely.
- At the bottom of the form, put dried flowers for beauty, then add the first portion of the colored mass and press into the form.
- For beautiful color combinations, layer different colors on top of each other and press firmly.
- Repeat the process for the other half of the mold.
- Lightly fill both halves to the brim, place on top of each other and press firmly together to form a ball.
- Carefully remove the ball from the mold.
- Let the balls harden at room temperature for a few days or refrigerate for about 5 hours.
- Do-it-yourself candy topiary
- Not only beautiful, but also delicious! Candy topiary is very easy to make. If you take a personalized cup as a basis, the memory of the gift will be preserved even if all the sweets are eaten. Watch a master class on making a sweet composition with your own hands.

DIY candles

- beautiful transparent container;
- candle wax of the desired color;
- candle wick;
- pot for melting wax;
- aromatic oil of your choice.
Step-by-step instruction:
- First, melt the candle wax in a water bath. Add some aromatic oil if desired.
