How to paint eggs for Easter with rice – step-by-step master class
Materials
- Chicken eggs – 6 pcs.
- Rice – 300 g
- Food coloring – 3 types
- Small bags – 3 pcs.
- Vinegar 9%
Step 1. Prepare the eggs for coloring by boiling them. They must be hot when stained. While the eggs are boiling, start preparing the colorful rice.
Step 2. Divide the dry rice into several portions and place each portion in separate small bags. Place approximately 100 grams of dry rice into each bag.
Step 3. Prepare the dye. If you have dry dye, dilute it with hot water and add a little vinegar to better fix the color.
Step 4: Pour a different color of dye into each bag of rice. Usually 2-3 teaspoons of dye per packet is enough.
Step 5: Seal the rice and coloring bags tightly, then shake or stir the contents well until the coloring evenly coats all of the rice.
Step 6. When the eggs are already cooked, use a spoon to carefully remove them from the pan and start placing them one at a time into the colored rice bags.
Step 7. You need to dip each egg well in the rice with your hands, so that it is completely covered, but not visible through the bag.
8. Leave the eggs in the colored rice for a while. The longer they stay there, the brighter and more intense the drawing will be.
9. Once the eggs are saturated in color, carefully remove them from the bags and shake off any excess rice. Now you have beautifully colored Easter eggs with unique designs!
