  1. Boil the eggs first. Choose specimens with white shells, which produce pure and vibrant colors.
  2. Pour 1 liter of water and one of the natural dyes, the options of which are listed below, into the pan.
  3. Bring the liquid to a boil, reduce the temperature to a minimum and leave on low heat for 15-60 minutes to brighten the color of the liquid.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and, if desired, you can rub the contents through a sieve. Allow the resulting liquid to cool to room temperature (about 20 minutes), then add 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
  5. After that, add cold boiled eggs to it and keep them in the refrigerator until the desired color is obtained, from 2 to 12 hours. The longer you keep them, the darker the color will be.
  6. Once you’ve achieved your desired color, scoop out the eggs with a spoon and let them dry on an egg tray or other surface.
  7. Coloring eggs with natural dyes does not require them to be uniform – you can decorate each egg with rice grains, ribbons or threads before dipping in dye to create interesting patterns on the surface.
  8. To give them a beautiful shine, after they dry well, you can rub with a small amount of vegetable oil.
