In an interview with CNN, American actor Alec Baldwin admitted that he is experiencing difficulties in his career. He lost five contracts after a tragic accident in Rust.
During a conversation with reporters, he said that just the other day he was fired from another job. He was supposed to start filming by now, all he had to do was get on the plane. For several months, he communicated with representatives of the project, but then they said that they did not want to see him in their film because of what happened.
The actor also said that he would have left the film industry long ago. But he is held back by his wife Hilaria, who is expecting her seventh child and is very supportive of him. He would like to finish work on the film “Rust” and dedicate it to Galina Hutchins, and the actor would give the earned money to the son of the cameraman.
Recall that in October 2021, on the set of the film Rust, Alec Baldwin fired a prop weapon. It was loaded with live ammunition. As a result, cameraman Galina Hutchins was killed, and director Joel Sousa was also injured. According to FBI reports, the revolver could not fire itself, and the actor pulled the trigger.
