The legendary French chansonnier Pascal Danel has died at the age of 80. This was reported by Le Monde, citing the artist’s relatives.
As the singer’s manager, Christian Jaume, said, he passed away on the night of July 24. The artist’s life ended in the hospital; he was 80 years old at the time. The singer’s son, Jean-Pierre Danel, also reported that shortly before his death, Pascal had undergone surgery and a heart attack.
Pascal Danel became a legend in the world of music. In 1996, he released the album La Plage aux Romantiques, which went gold and brought him fame. And the song Kilimandjaro, which was recorded in six languages, brought Pascal worldwide success.
