Supermodel, star of the 90s, Linda Evangelista spoke openly about her health for the first time. A celebrity whose body was disfigured by botched plastic surgery suffers from cancer.
After a failed cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, operation, Linda hid from the public and avoided communicating with journalists. But lately she has come to terms with her appearance and has also started talking about her life.
Recently, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the supermodel revealed that she was battling breast cancer. She was diagnosed with a terrible diagnosis back in 2018. Immediately after this, Linda agreed to have a double mastectomy (surgery to remove her breasts) to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence of the disease.
Linda said she wanted to live and wasn’t going to let breast cancer kill her. But last year, doctors told the star that the cancer had returned. It spread to the pectoral muscle, which is why the supermodel had to continue treatment. Evangelista admitted that she was ready for anything to recover.
The supermodel told the doctor to dig a hole in her chest because she didn’t want it to look good. She is ready for “excavations”. Linda recalls saying:
“I know I have one foot in the grave, but I’m in the mood to celebrate.”
Let us remember that in 2017 Linda Evangelista underwent unsuccessful plastic surgery. It mutilated her body. After this, the model became a recluse and only in 2022 showed what her body looks like.
