3. In the fifties of the last century in Texas, a cat named Dusty set a record for fertility – more than 400 kittens were born from him during his long life. Moreover, the last kittens were born from him when he was already over 18 years old.

4. The largest number of surviving kittens in one litter is 14 pcs. and was recorded in a cat named Bluebell in South Africa.
