Farfalle pasta is small butterfly-shaped pasta. They are a good choice for both lunch and dinner. And they will be even more nutritious if combined with cheese and mushrooms. We at joy-pup offer a recipe for farfalle pasta with cheese and mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- 300 g farfalle pasta
- 250 g fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 100 g hard cheese, such as Parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for serving (optional)

Step-by-step preparation:
- Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan. Add pasta and cook for 3-5 minutes. It should be al dente. Drain the water and keep the pasta aside.
- Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant. Add chopped mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until soft and golden brown. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the paste to the mushrooms and gently stir in the pan. Sprinkle with grated cheese and stir gently again until the cheese is evenly distributed and begins to melt.
- Serve hot farfalle pasta with mushrooms and cheese, topped with fresh parsley.
