Classic cream soup with potatoes and milk
Ingredients:
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 bulb
- 2 glasses of milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Greens for decoration
Step by step preparation:
- Chop the onion and fry it in butter until golden brown.
- Add the chopped potatoes and sauté with the onions for a few minutes.
- Pour in milk, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Using a blender, beat the soup into a creamy mass. Add more milk if necessary.
- Serve the soup hot, sprinkled with fresh herbs.
Milk rice pudding with caramel
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 2 glasses of milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 vanilla stick (or 1 tsp vanilla sugar)
- 2 eggs
- For caramel:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation of caramel:
Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan. Stir the mixture constantly, bringing it to a boil. Remove from heat when it comes to caramelization.
Step by step cooking rice pudding:
- Boil rice in milk with vanilla until tender. Remove the vanilla stick.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs with sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually pour a little cooked rice into the egg mixture to mix evenly.
- Then add all the rice with milk, stir the mixture.
- Pour a little caramel into the bottom of the prepared baking dishes.
- Then carefully pour the rice mass into the molds.
- Bake the pudding in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until the pudding is set.
- Cool the pudding, then turn the mold over and carefully remove the treat.
Chocolate milkshake
Ingredients:
- 2 glasses of milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp Sahara
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Step by step preparation:
- In a saucepan, combine milk, cocoa powder and sugar. Cook over medium heat until heated through.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
- Add ice cream and beat the mixture in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve with chocolate or whipped cream.
Milk soup with champignons and cheese
Ingredients:
- 250 g mushrooms, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 4 glasses of milk
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup grated cheese (like cheddar or gouda)
- Bread toast (optional, for serving)
Step by step preparation:
- Heat the butter in a deep saucepan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and fry until translucent.
- Add chopped mushrooms and fry until they become soft and golden.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and onions, mix.
- Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Add dried thyme, dried parsley, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring, until the soup thickens.
- Bring the soup to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Add the grated cheese, stirring constantly, until it melts and the soup is creamy.
- Before serving, sprinkle the soup with fresh parsley and add the croutons.
