One fine day, a mother duck with her tiny children was going about her business when, without much thought, she decided to cross the roadway. But on one of the streets of Arizona, an unexpected situation arose – when the duck family had already mastered half of the roadway, the little ducklings could not jump onto the curb and follow it.
Mom, seeing that such a situation arose, decided to bring the ducklings back, but the cars scurrying back and forth did not let them through. One of the kind people noticed a duck family rushing about and called the police.
“When I looked at the road, I noticed how the mother duck and her ducklings can’t leave the roadway,” Casey Walag told The Dodo. “And all because the ducklings, because of their small stature, could not overcome a small obstacle.”
“The police arrived pretty quickly,” Walag said. “A lot of the drivers stopped their cars and while one of the officers helped the matinees to overcome the dividing path, they shouted out words of gratitude to the police. This lane was immediately closed to traffic.

The ducklings ran straight to their mother and continued on their way in single file until they crossed the entire highway.
“In front of the road, the duck family hid in the tall grass,” said Walag. “I hope they can get to the pond or river that are present in these areas.”
