Ingredients
- 500 grams of fresh fish (salmon, cod or other favorite fish)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or flour
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Seasonings (optional): garlic, paprika, herbs, etc.
- Vegetable oil for frying
Step-by-step preparation of fish nuggets
- Cut the cleaned and washed fish into small pieces or strips.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped fish with the egg, breadcrumbs (or flour), lemon juice and seasonings to taste. Mix all ingredients until smooth.
- Form small round or oval nuggets from the resulting mass. You can use a shaping spoon to make sure all the nuggets are the same size.
- Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, carefully place the nuggets in the pan and fry them on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- When the nuggets are ready, carefully place them on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
- Serve this juicy and satisfying dish with any sauce of your choice (tartar, ketchup, barbecue sauce, etc.), as well as fresh vegetables or salad.
