Cauliflower is considered one of the healthiest vegetables. It is often used in a variety of dishes. In particular, it will be an excellent component for preparing first courses. We at joy-pup tell you how to make cauliflower soup for breakfast.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium head cauliflower
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 glass of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs and cream for garnish (optional)
Step-by-step preparation of cauliflower soup
- Divide the cabbage into small pieces. They should be small enough.
- Heat some oil in a large saucepan and add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook them over medium heat until soft and fragrant, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the chopped cauliflower to the onion and garlic and fry for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the cabbage has softened, add the vegetable broth and milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes.
- When the soup is ready, season it with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other spices of your choice.
Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh herbs and, if desired, add a little cream for richer flavor.
