  • One and a half cups of boiling water
  • Half a glass of grated Parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, finely chopped

Step-by-step recipe for couscous with parmesan

  • Pour the couscous into the pan and pour boiling water over it. Cover it with a lid and leave for 5-7 minutes to allow the couscous to swell. After this, use a fork to break the couscous into individual grains.
  • Once the couscous has swelled, add the grated Parmesan. Stir until the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the couscous.
  • Add olive oil and finely chopped basil to the dish. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
