New Year is a special holiday when we not only want to show off in bright outfits, but also please our loved ones with delicious treats. But if you don’t have time to stand in the kitchen, don’t despair. We at joy-pup offer several simple dishes for the New Year that can be prepared very quickly.

Fried shrimp in garlic sauce

Ingredients:

  • Shrimp – 500 g
  • Garlic – 4 cloves, chopped
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Parsley – 2 tbsp. l., finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper – to taste

Preparation:

  • Clean and rinse the shrimp.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan, add chopped garlic and fry until golden brown.
  • Add shrimp, salt and pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley before serving.

Toast with salmon and cream cheese

Ingredients:

  • Toasts – 8 pcs.
  • Cold smoked salmon – 200 g
  • Cream cheese – 150 g
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Greens for decoration

Preparation:

  • Toast the toast in a toaster or frying pan.
  • Mix cream cheese with lemon juice.
  • Spread each piece of toast with cream cheese and top with sliced salmon.
  • Sprinkle with herbs before serving.

Chicken wings in honey mustard sauce

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings – 500 g
  • Honey – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Mustard – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, pepper, oil for frying

Preparation:

  • Fry chicken wings in a frying pan with oil until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, mix honey, mustard, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Pour the resulting sauce over the wings and mix thoroughly.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Roasted vegetables with rosemary and garlic

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 4 pcs., diced
  • Carrots – 2 pcs., cut into circles
  • Broccoli – 1 head, divided into florets
  • Garlic – 4 cloves, chopped
  • Rosemary – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, pepper – to taste

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Distribute the vegetables on a baking tray.
  • Mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture over the vegetables.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Fruit salad with mint honey sauce

Ingredients:

  • Apples – 2 pcs., diced
  • Pears – 2 pcs., diced
  • Grapes – 1 grn
  • Walnuts – 50 g, roughly chopped
  • Mint honey sauce: honey – 2 tbsp. l., mint – 1 tbsp. l., lemon juice – 1 tbsp. l.

Preparation:

  • Combine all fruits and nuts in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine ingredients for mint honey sauce.
  • Drizzle the sauce over the fruit before serving.
