Beans are a versatile product that can be used in a variety of dishes. And often it is added to salads to make their taste more intense. However, they can be nutritious or quite light. We at joy-pup offer several bean salad recipes.

Salad with beans and tomatoes

To prepare it, you will need the following ingredients:
- 400 g canned beans
- 250g cherry tomatoes or tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Step by step preparation:
- Rinse beans under cold water and let stand.
- In a large bowl, mix beans, tomatoes, onion and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour this dressing over the salad.
- Mix all the ingredients so that they are evenly soaked in the sauce.
- Garnish the salad with fresh parsley.
Greek bean salad

Spice up a classic Greek salad with beans. For this you will need:
- 400 g canned beans
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 200 g cherry tomatoes or tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 red onion, cut into thin half rings
- 100 g feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Coarsely chopped fresh mint leaves for garnish
Step by step preparation:
- Rinse beans under cold water and let stand.
- In a large bowl, combine the beans, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and feta.
- In another bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper. Pour this dressing over the salad.
- Mix all the ingredients so that they are evenly soaked in the sauce.
- Garnish the salad with fresh mint leaves.
Mexican salad with beans and avocado

If you like spicy food, check out this salad. Ingredients:
- 400 g canned black beans
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 200 g corn (canned or fresh)
- Juice of half a lime
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Step by step preparation:
- Rinse beans under cold water and let stand.
- In a large bowl, combine the beans, avocado, onion, chili and corn.
- In a separate bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour this dressing over the salad.
- Mix all the ingredients so that they are evenly soaked in the sauce.
- Garnish the salad with fresh cilantro.
