Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of minced pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

How to cook meatballs?

Mix the ground beef, egg, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Form the minced meat into small balls. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until golden on each side, about 5-7 minutes.

Bolognese

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of minced beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 can of tomatoes in their own juice
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

How to make Bolognese sauce?

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and fry until the onion is translucent. Add minced meat and fry until browned, about 10 minutes. Add tomato paste, tomatoes in their own juice, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and cook on it under the lid for 30-40 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 large potatoes
  • 500 gr. minced meat (beef or pork)
  • 1 large bulb
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • salt, pepper to taste

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden.
  • Add the minced meat to the pan and fry it until it turns brown.
  • Add chopped garlic and tomato paste to the pan, mix.
  • Add a glass of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat.
  • Put the potatoes in a large saucepan, pour the sauce with minced meat over it, add water if necessary. Leave to extinguish for 30-40 minutes.
  • Serve with a light salad.

Moussaka

Pamper your loved ones with classic Greek moussaka. It is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggplants
  • 500 grams of minced lamb or beef
  • 2 large bulbs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 kg of tomatoes (you can use fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of white sauce (consists of 2 cups of milk, 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of oil and nutmeg chips)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Cut the eggplants into large circles about 1 cm thick and fry them in olive oil until golden brown on both sides. Place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • Cut the onion and garlic and fry them in the same pan in which the eggplants were fried until soft.
  • Add minced meat and fry, breaking up lumps of meat, until it turns brown.
  • Add tomato paste, tomatoes, oregano, coriander, salt and pepper. Stir and cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens (about 10 minutes).
  • Mix the white sauce with an egg and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • We heat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • In a small, deep baking dish, place a layer of eggplant, then a layer of meat sauce, then another layer of eggplant, then the remaining meat sauce. Finally, we spread the remaining eggplants on top.
  • Gradually pour the white sauce on top, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.
  • Bake the dish in the oven for about 40 minutes.
  • Serve moussaka garnished with fresh herbs.
