Broccoli is considered one of the main ingredients in the health food industry. It contains quite a lot of vitamins and minerals, thanks to which it is prepared even for small children. Of course, not everyone likes the taste of broccoli. But you can intelligently enter it into your menu to reveal its features.
Broccoli with lemon sauce and parmesan
Ingredients:
- 1 kg broccoli, divided into florets
- 2 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Step by step recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt and pepper on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Cream of broccoli soup with coconut milk
Ingredients:
- 500 g broccoli, chopped
- 1 liter coconut milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
Step by step recipe:
- Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
- Add broccoli and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is soft.
- Use a blender to puree the soup until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Broccoli with chicken in creamy sauce
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken fillet, cut into pieces
- 1 kg broccoli, chopped
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tbsp. spoons of butter
- 2 tbsp. spoons of flour
- Salt, pepper and spices to taste
Step by step recipe:
- Fry the chicken fillet until golden brown.
- Add broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a separate pan, melt the butter, add flour and fry until golden brown.
- Gradually add the cream, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, season with spices and then add to the chicken and broccoli.
Broccoli and avocado salad
Ingredients:
- 500 g broccoli, chopped
- 2 ripe avocados, chopped
- 1/2 red onion, sliced into rings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp. spoons of apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step by step recipe:
- Boil broccoli in salted water until half cooked, then cool under cold water.
- Combine broccoli, avocado and onion in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine honey, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the salad with the dressing before serving.
