To reduce eye fatigue or dry eyes caused by screen use, it is important to take regular breaks. You can also incorporate the 20-20 rule into your daily routine. This means getting into the habit of looking away from the screen every 20 minutes and then looking at a distant object for 20 seconds. This way you will give your eyes a rest.

Therefore, always check the expiration date after opening (there is often a number on the back of the product indicating the number of months; usually 3, 6 or 12). It is especially important to replace mascara on time.

But if you don’t remove your lenses before certain activities, such as swimming and sleeping, it can have serious consequences for your eyes. Wearing lenses for too long can also lead to excessive dryness, redness of the eyes and swelling of the cornea. This is caused by decreased oxygen supply to the eyes. Set an alarm on your phone so you can get your contacts out on time, or stick a note on your bathroom mirror so you can see it when you brush your teeth in the evening.
