Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals Who Really Should Have Played The Terminator

Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger for the first time said that he should not be a terminator. For this role, the creators of the action movie considered another actor.

So, in a documentary from Netflix, Schwarzenegger noted that the role of the terminator was to be played by American actor O.J. Simpson. He himself was supposed to play the role of rebel fighter Kyle Reese.

But during the production of the film, none of the blockbuster’s creators thought that Simpson could look believable as a “killing machine.” So director James Cameron pushed Schwarzenegger to try out the part. At first he refused, because the character has practically no lines in the film. True, after thinking carefully, he agreed to the role.

As a result, Arnold Schwarzenegger became a terminator, and Kyle Reese was played by Michael Biehn.
