Brynza is a traditional Greek cheese that has gained popularity due to its special taste and versatility in cooking. This soft goat or sheep milk cheese is an excellent ingredient for a variety of dishes. We at joy-pup offer five delicious recipes in which feta cheese plays the main role.
Greek salad with cheese and olives
Ingredients:
- 200 g cheese, cut into cubes
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cucumber, cut into rings
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 100 g olives
- 3 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
- Salt, pepper, fresh herbs to taste
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, add olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Cheese cheese in honey glaze
Ingredients:
- 200 g cheese
- 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, finely chopped
Preparation:
Heat honey in a frying pan, add mustard and rosemary. Fry the cheese on both sides in a frying pan, then generously drizzle with honey-mustard glaze. Serve hot.
Pasta with feta cheese and spinach
Ingredients:
- 250 g paste
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, pepper, olive oil
Preparation:
Boil the pasta, fry the garlic in olive oil, add the spinach and simmer until soft. Stir with boiled pasta, add feta cheese and season to taste.
Cheese cheese in pumpkin
Ingredients:
- 1 medium pumpkin
- 200 g cheese, chopped
- 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
- 50 g walnuts, chopped
Preparation:
Remove the pulp from the pumpkin, cut into cubes, add cheese and walnuts. Place in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. After baking, drizzle with honey.
Cheese cheese in tartlets with tomatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of puff pastry
- 200 g cheese
- 3 tomatoes, cut into circles
- Fresh green herbs to taste
Preparation:
Divide the dough into circles and place them in tartlet tins. Grate the cheese onto the dough, decorate with tomato circles and sprinkle with herbs. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
