Step by step recipe

  1. Separate the eggs and place the egg whites in a large bowl. Refrigerate as long as possible
  2. Whisk the egg yolks, milk and vanilla sugar until the mixture is thick and frothy. Sift flour with baking powder into the yolk mass and stir.
  3. Place the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar until peaks form.
  4. Add the beaten egg whites to the batter in three additions, mixing gently. The dough should be thick and airy.

  1. In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with sugar.
