Ingredients:

  • 800 g tomatoes (fresh are best)
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Cut the tomatoes into cubes. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Stir and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer the sauce for about 30-40 minutes until it thickens.
  • Pour the sauce into a blender and blend until smooth.

Ingredients:

  • 800 g tomatoes (canned are best)
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Step-by-step preparation:

  • If using canned tomatoes, puree them in a blender.
  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add carrots and peppers, fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Stir and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer the sauce for about 30-40 minutes until it thickens.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 glass of cream (fat content 10-20%)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Step-by-step preparation:

  • If using fresh tomatoes, cut them into cubes. If using canned tomatoes, puree them in a blender.
  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook them for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Add cream, sugar, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Stir and bring to a boil.
